ProsteProste terms of service
Effective from ⟦effective date⟧.
1. General
ProsteProste (the app at app.prosteproste.pl and the website prosteproste.pl) is run by IBEX Maciej Kuś, ul. Szlifierska 5/6, 58-309 Wałbrzych, Poland, tax ID (NIP) 8862443484, contact: info@ibex.pl ("we"). These terms govern the electronic services we provide. Data protection is covered by the privacy policy and the data processing agreement (DPA); the DPA forms part of the agreement.
Services: a teacher account, creating student groups and review assignments (English vocabulary, times tables), links for students and parents, progress views, and on prosteproste.pl exercises that need no account.
2. Who the service is for
- Only adults who teach or tutor children (teachers, tutors and similar) may create an account.
- The service is intended for users in Poland, the United Kingdom and the European Union. It is not offered in the United States — do not create an account if you teach there.
- Students use links from their teacher, without an account.
3. Account
- You create an account with an e-mail and password or with a Google account. Before using it, you accept these terms, the privacy policy and the DPA, and confirm that you may process your students' data.
- Keep your password confidential. One account belongs to one person.
- Account limits: up to 200 active students (archived ones do not count) and up to 30 groups.
4. Students and their data
- You are the controller of your students' data, and we process it on your behalf under the DPA.
- You provide the legal basis (for example parental consent or the school's task) and tell parents that you use the service.
- Do not use full names or other details that make a child easy to identify as nicknames.
5. Links for students and parents
- Every link is a random address that is hard to guess. Share it only with the student or their parent.
- You can regenerate a student link or a parent link at any time, and switch off a class link or a parent link; closing an assignment switches off all its links. The old link stops working at once.
- A parent link shows one student's progress, read-only.
6. Acceptable use
You must not:
- enter unlawful content or content that infringes the rights of others,
- try to bypass security measures or limits, or to access other users' data,
- scrape the service's content to reproduce or sell it,
- use the service in a way that disrupts it.
We may block an account that breaks these rules after asking you to stop, unless the breach endangers other users.
7. Fees
The service is free. Joining the Pro list is not an order and creates no obligation.
8. Content and rights
- The exercises, pictures, recordings and texts of the service are protected by law. You may use them in your teaching within the service.
- Vocabulary exercises are aligned with CEFR levels (Pre-A1, A1, A2). ProsteProste is not affiliated with or endorsed by Cambridge University Press & Assessment; exam names are used for description only.
- The times tables practice test is not the official check; ProsteProste is not affiliated with the Standards and Testing Agency or the Department for Education.
- Topic areas follow the Polish national curriculum (MEN); the word selection is ours.
9. Availability and liability
- We aim to keep the service running without interruption, but technical breaks may happen. We back up the data daily.
- We are liable for damage caused intentionally or through gross negligence. Towards consumers we do not exclude or limit liability where the law forbids it.
10. Complaints
Send complaints to info@ibex.pl, describing the problem and giving your account e-mail. We will answer within ⟦14 days — proposed⟧.
11. Technical requirements
A current browser (Chrome, Safari, Firefox or Edge) with JavaScript enabled and internet access. Games with sound need a speaker or headphones; every recording has a picture or text alternative.
12. Termination and account deletion
You can delete your account at any time on the Account page — deletion ends the agreement. Sign-in and links stop working at once, and account and student data is erased as the privacy policy describes: by the daily clean-up (within 30 days at the latest), and from backups as they expire (after 30 days, 35 at the latest). We may terminate the agreement with ⟦30 days' — proposed⟧ notice by e-mail.
13. Changes to the terms
We will announce changes at least ⟦14 days — proposed⟧ before they take effect. If you disagree, you may delete your account before that date.
14. Governing law
The agreement is governed by ⟦governing law — proposed: Polish law⟧. A consumer keeps the protection given by the mandatory laws of their country of residence and may bring claims before the court that has jurisdiction under general rules.
